  • The art for Gotham City Sirens #7 (OCT090208, $2.99) will be by David Lopez and Alvaro Lopez, not Guillem March.
  • The art for the Manhunter co-feature in Batman: Streets of Gotham #7 (OCT090205, $3.99) will be by Cliff Richards and Art Thibert, not Jeremy Haun.

IMAGE COMICS

  • IMAGE UNITED, the six-part crossover featuring Image Founders Erik Larsen, Rob Liefeld, Todd McFarlane, Whilce Portacio, Marc Silvestri and Jim Valentino, made its debut with a near-immediate sellout at the distribution-level. IMAGE UNITED #1 2nd Printing, a 32-page full color comic book for $3.99, will be on-sale December 23.

MARVEL COMICS

  • Marvel is pleased to announce that Deadpool #17 has sold out at Diamond (though copies may be available at the retail level) and will return with Deadpool #17 Second Printing Variant. Deadpool #17 Second Printing Variant (FOC—12/3/09, On-Sale—12/23/09) features the interior art of Paco Medina on a new cover.
  • Marvel is pleased to announce that Punisher #11, the first appearance of the all-new FrankenCastle, has sold out at Diamond (though copies may be available at the retail level) and will return to press with Punisher #11 Second Printing Variant. Punisher #11 Second Printing Variant (FOC—12/3/09, On-Sale—12/23/09) features the dynamic interior art of Tony Moore on a new cover.
  • Spider-Man: The Gauntlet Premiere HC Book 1: Electro & Rhino (DEC090599, $24.99) will now be titled Spider-Man: The Gauntlet Premiere HC Book 1: Electro & Sandman.
  • Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man #59 (NOV090476, $2.99) has a new solicitation. which follows: Written by Paul Tobin; penciled by Ben Dewey; cover by Skottie Young.   • Criminal: Sinners #3 (MR) (OCT090587, $3.50) will be 32 pages, not 40 pages.

WIZARD ENTERTAINMENT

  • Wizard has released additional details about its Alex Ross Gallery Edition HC (NOV090575, $49.99) that were not included in its November PREVIEWS solicitation. The 200-page book will be an oversized edition of the original hardcover – approximately 17% larger, or the size of a DC Comics Absolute Edition – with 48 additional pages of new material added to the original Millennium HC edition. Additionally, it will be printed on double-thickness paper to create a larger, improved showcase for Ross's art and a valuable reference, packaged in a handsome bookcase format.
