Media Release -- Diamond Comic Distributors is proud to reveal the artwork from Eisner Award-winning creator Eric Powell (The Goon, Spookhouse) for this year's Halloween ComicFest (HCF) 2018 commemorative T-shirt. The T-Shirt is featured in the July issue of Diamond's PREVIEWS catalog and is available for pre-order at comic shops throughout July.

Best known for The Goon, as well as his current ongoing series, Hillbilly, Powell delivers stories steeped in supernatural thrills, chills, and humor. In celebration of the seventh annual Halloween ComicFest, Powell translates that supernatural humor into a creepy, kooky, original T-shirt design that features some of the most iconic horror creatures in history – the ghost, the witch, Frankenstein, and Dracula, among others – as they leave their local comic book shop, comics in hand.

"It was a pleasure to design this year's Halloween ComicFest T-Shirt!" said Powell. "Monsters, zombies, and vampires all live in the pages of comic books and that makes comics and comic book shops a critical part of the Halloween experience. I wanted my t-shirt design to reflect comic shops as both a staple of the community and a destination for spooky Halloween fun."

The HCF 2018 T-Shirt will be available in heather charcoal in Men's and Women's sizes Small to XXL (MSRP: $14.99-$17.99) and youth sizes Small to Large (MSRP: $11.99). The commemorative HCF T-Shirt, plus the complete listing of the HCF 2018 titles, are available in the July issue of PREVIEWS, releasing in comic shops June 27.
