Comic book fans, collectors, and outright geeks should have an early Christmas shopping bonanza! Orlando based Coliseum of Comics will be offering over 300 to 400 thousand comic books with their very own online store through the Comic Collector Live website.

Phil Boyle, owner of seven locations of Coliseum of Comics, expressed his excitement at being able to offer lots of variant covers, silver and bronze age comics and much more. “We’re glad to finally partner with a website that can help us get our massive amount of backstock out there.”

Comic Collector Live started its ‘live market’ on July 4th of this year and in just four months had opened over 240 stores with a combined inventory of well over 100 thousand comics.

Joe Butler, CEO of Comic Collector Live, says the addition of Coliseum of Comics will bring the company to a new level. “When I met Phil in Orlando it was an interesting encounter, says Butler. “The more we talked, the more I think Phil realized the possibilities of having us provide the technology through our website and collecting software, while he could concentrate on selling his inventory. It will be a great partnership and we think other large retailers and private collectors will want to be part of it!”

Comic Collector Live recently partnered with CGC and with comic book publishers Big City Comics, Moonstone Books, and UK based Markosia.

CCL is also the premier sponsor of the mini-series KONG: King of Skull Island, and is offering a Lone Ranger variant (#10) with Dynamite Entertainment with the controversial cover depiction of the Ranger by Eisner Award winning artist John Cassaday. While the special variant is only available at www.comiccollectorlive.com , CCL is expected to offer the comic books at Wizard World Texas, November 16-18th.
