DYNAMITE PREPARES ALL NEW LONE RANGER AND GALACTICA FOR FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
All New Stories and Art in May as a Special Thank You to Fans!

February 9, 2007, Runnemede, NJ - DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT released cover images and information promoting their entry into this year's Free Comic Book Day -- DYNAMITE FCBD: THE LONE RANGER AND BATTLESTAR GALACTICA FLIP BOOK!

Free Comic Book Day will take place on May 5, 2007 as participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores. Dynamite will be participating this year for the first time and as a "Gold" Sponsor.

Within the pages of the DYNAMITE FCBD EDITION, fans will find two all-new tales from two of Dynamite's best-selling series: The Lone Ranger and New Battlestar Galactica. The choice of the titles was selected by the fans via a poll posted on Dynamite's website in late 2006. The DYNAMITE FCBD EDITION issue will feature: The Lone Ranger: Creed #0 by the series' regular creative team of writer Brett Matthews, cover artist and art director John Cassaday, interior artist Sergio Cariello, colorist Dean White and letterer Simon Bowland; and Battlestar Galactica: Season "Zero": Year One #0, will be written by Brandon Jerwa - writer of the New Battlestar Galactica: Zarek mini series - and features art by Stephen Segovia. NBSG: Year One #0 will lead directly into an all-new New Battlestar Galactica comic book series, while The Lone Ranger: Creed serves as a stand-alone story in between the opening 6 issues of Dynamite's The Lone Ranger and the upcoming issue #7.

Fans and retailers should take a special note; the Dynamite FCBD Edition is a full-size 32-page comic book containing all new art and story that will not be reprinted in the regular series of Battlestar Galactica and The Lone Ranger. Additionally, the Dynamite FCBD Edition will also feature previews of Dynamite's other titles Red Sonja, Painkiller Jane, Highlander and Raise the Dead and upcoming series!

About the event, Dynamite stated, "Free Comic Book Day has become a milestone event in the comic book industry. From the fan to the publishers and retailers and everyone in between, the benefits and good times are easily apparent. FCBD is a great way to introduce current readers to new titles and genres, and an even better way for new readers to jump into the comic book medium. With the pairing of The Lone Ranger and Battlestar Galactica - two fan favorites and chosen by the fans themselves - we feel we've found the right mix for fans new and old. The media exposure and intricate storytelling of Battlestar Galactica and the classic, yet modern interpretation of The Lone Ranger make a great pair for this great day."

LONE RANGE: CREED #0 presents a special Lone Ranger tale with the Lone Ranger and Tonto in action as the immortal words of the Lone Ranger's Creed help narrate our story! After the critical and sales success of 2006's Lone Ranger debut, "Creed" is an excellent sequel as well as a prequel to the next thrilling installment of Dynamite's The Lone Ranger series! Featuring the regular creative team of Matthews, Cassaday, Cariello, White and Bowland!

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: YEAR ONE #0 begins a brand new Battlestar Galactica story from the creative team of Brandon Jerwa and Stephen Segovia! Taking place before the events of the now-class "re-imagined" SCI FI series, Season "Zero": Year One presents a prelude that introduces us to the cast and crew of the Battlestar Galactica as they face new challenges and threats, all under the watchful eye of the Cylons! Jerwa and Segovia will be the regular creative team for this series, and issue #0 leads directly into the events of issue #1 and the first story arc.

PLUS: Dynamite previews of Red Sonja, Painkiller Jane, Highlander and Raise the Dead and other Dynamite new series!
