Palookaville HC Vol. 21Media Release -- It's feeling a lot like fall these days - the new harvest of apples is at the market, my squashes are *almost* mature, and it's pretty chilly biking home at night. The good news for the rest of you is that fall means book festivals! And we're kicking this fantastic fall season off with one of my favourite festivals - our beloved Small Press Expo! So please, residents of D.C., Maryland, and environs, come on down!

The Small Press Expo is held in the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center at 5701 Marinelli Rd, North Bethesda, MD, and this year's edition takes place this Saturday September 14 from 11 am to 7 pm, and Sunday September 15 from 12 pm to 6 pm. Drawn & Quarterly can be found at booths W1-4.

We are delighted to be bringing a whopping eight D+Q cartoonists to sign at our booth: Peter Bagge (Woman Rebel), Lisa Hanawalt (My Dirty Dumb Eyes), Rutu Modan (The Property - all the way from Israel! D+Q wishes to acknowledge the support of Israel's Office of Cultural Affairs and participating Consulates), Anders Nilsen (Rage of Poseidon), Brian Ralph (Reggie-12), Seth (Palookaville 21), Adrian Tomine (Optic Nerve 13), and Dan Zettwoch (Birdseye Bristoe)!
