It appears that Marvel Studios is starting to move forward with production for various movies that have been delayed. The primary blame is due to the world-wide pandemic where the studio is trying to establish healthy protocols for people to return to work.

The indication is that the Wandavision Disney Plus television series will play a role in what will happen in the Doctor Strange movie. The rumored result is that Scarlet Witch will have a mental breakdown and crack open the muli-verse. The opening provides endless possibilities and many alternate timelines. The movie is expected to have a huge culmination of individuals that have ties to Marvel superheroes.
Tom Cruise = Iron Man?
One rumor is the movie might add Tom Cruise for the movie. According to Cosmicbook.news, the addition of Cruise is for him to play the role of Iron Man. It is interesting since the character of Iron Man, which was played by Robert Downery Jr. was killed in Avengers Infinity War. I apologize for the spoilers on that. I do not have a comic book to reference this appearance for Tom Cruise. The idea is for Cruise to hold the mantle of Iron Man in an alternative universe.
Sue Storm
I have heard the rumors of fans that want Emily Blunt to be the next Sue Storm in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Sue goes by the superhero name of the Invisible Woman. She is part of the superhero team, Fantastic Four. According to Cosmicbook.news, the latest speculation is that Marvel wants Blunt to play the role of Black Widow. The role is currently held by Scarlett Johnson. This follows suit with the same theory of Tom Cruise and Iron Man. Marvel is gathering individuals who were offered roles for these superheroes in the past. So it seems that Blunt could take the mantle of Black Widow in an alternate universe in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie.
Wolverine in Doctor Strange
In addition, Marvel seems to be looking to grab Edward Norton to join in the upcoming DS movie. He previously took the role of The Hulk before Mark Ruffalo. Lastly, the idea of asking Hugh Jackson for one last dance in a movie is being requested. Marvel wants Wolverine to appears with the Avengers in the Doctor Strange movie. This idea is probably dead as Jackman has said that he is done playing Wolverine.
