Hulk's cousin Jennifer Walters is coming to Disney+ as the Savage She-Hulk. She is set to take us on a Disney journey with a story that will appeal to every demographic imaginable. The brilliance of Dinsey's MCU is picking an unlikely hero from the 80s and trying to create a buzz with relatively minor characters. They did it in the movies and now for their new streaming platform. Who wouldn't want to watch She-Hulk? She appeals to children, women, and especially the comic collecting crowd. With this character, they don't even need to "knock it out of the park." If they tell average She-Hulk stories from the comics; then it will send She-Hulk over the top. Best of all as a speculator these comics are still relatively cheap to get in on the ground floor. Will this jade goliath guide us to greener pastures?

Savage She-Hulk #1

The Savage She-Hulk has plenty of room to run up from here. Many are still in shock that we are even seeing this iteration of Hulk. Not me, I know reading Marvel as a kid that this character has had several team affiliations over the years. She-Hulk will play well on screens, big or small. The Savage She-Hulk #1 was created by Stan Lee (script) and John Buscema (pencils) in 1980. It didn't last long, but the character continued to make appearances throughout Marvel's stories. This book is also a twofer representing both the first appearance of She-Hulk and her origin story. With a new series, this character will flex her beautiful bold self into our lives with  Disney+ at the helm.

These look great, but can you see what is really confirming this book will run-up? Yep, folks the across the board pick up of all grades even the miserly grade 5.5 has returned +25%. These are great signs and a fantastic Bronze Age book to buy. The long-term numbers are good but the short-term should reconfirm the build-up to the series. During the last ninety days, Savage She-Hulk has pounded out the profits.

This bad girl is just getting started, if the first episode is even marginal the sales will skyrocket. I think we are looking at a character on par with Harley Quinn's first appearance in Batman Adventures #12. This book in the run-up to Suicide Squad paid on average a return of +22% with low point sales at $1500 in 2014 and two years later reaching $2000 the month of the premiere. Both are strong female superbeings that can bring the dollars to make you holler. The last price for Savage She-Hulk #1 was $550 on eBay, at a +20-30% upward trend you are looking at $165 gain at a minimum.

She-Hulk is here to stay and her origin and first appearance will grow in value. We could be looking at a decade of growth with She-Hulk. My advice is to get in at the near mint minus or above. After all, a +30% return is reasonable but I feel this jolly green giantess has a lot more going for her then well-defined triceps. If she is popular and people start talking about her in a movie; then we could be looking at parity for Savage She-Hulk #1 with Harley Quinn's first appearance in BA #12. That would mean a potential value of $2100 for a grade 9.8 Savage She-Hulk #1. I believe on Wall Street they call that a "four-bagger." Don't miss this savage speculation!
