When it comes to the Amazing Spider-Man and Daredevil, everyone knows the legendary work of John Romita, Sr. But did you know that Mr. Romita is also responsible for the creation of 100’s of Marvel’s most popular characters-including Wolverine. That’s right, true believers, as the art director of Marvel in the mid 1970’s, John Romita designed Wolverine’s yellow-and-blue costume, making him the Uncanny X-Man he is today. Whether you see Logan in the comics, cartoons or movies, it’s all thanks to the inspiration of John Romita, Sr.’s design. And now DF is offering you a chance to combine Wolverine’s “Origin” with Wolverine’s history by offering Wolverine: Origins #16 with the signature of the man who made the old canucklehead the best he is at what he does, the legendary John Romita, Sr. This is a story over 50 years in the making and reveals Wolverine’s past history with Captain America during WWII.

This summer also welcomes a classic in the making as Red Sonja and Spider-Man team up once again to fight the villainy of Kulan Gath. Not since the now classic Marvel Team-Up #79 (Marvel, 1979) by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, have these two characters joined forces, but don’t expect the same old team-up, because this time Kulan Gath has Venom by his side for this adventure…. And DF has this premiere issue signed exclusively by the Red Sonja/Spider-Man #1 Cover artist-Michael Turner!!!

There may not be many things more relaxing than kicking back on the beach with the latest Steven King novel… well, except maybe kicking back with a comic adaptation of a Steven Kings novel. Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Reborn #7 is the final chapter of the top-selling title from the mind of Steven King, and DF has it signed exclusively by artist Jae Lee! Our signed Dark Tower issues have been among our best selling signed comics of 2007, so get yours while you can!!!
