The issue Daredevil #1 has shown upward price movement recently. This is probably due to the third season on Netflix being so visceral and right on the money. This show just gives the fans what they want, the Daredevil from the comics. The original backstory created for Daredevil is still full of drama and angst fifty years later. This character has lasted among the likes of Spider-Man and the Avengers. Yet, he still has a huge fan base. In the age of political correctness Matt Murdock is a blind lawyer doing good as a local boy in Hell's Kitchen; what more could we want from a superhero? You don't need to be able to read brail like Murdock to track his first appearance comic book as an investment. Currently, Daredevil #1 has reached the sixth-place for most popular Silver Age comic in October. Can this Devil of Hell's Kitchen conjure up plenty of future profit?

Hell's Kitchen

The actual Hell's Kitchen is the perfect space for an alternate universe, a Marvel Universe. Now a lot has been made of Hell's Kitchen this area of Manhattan from 34th to 59th Streets. This was once a neighborhood for working-class Irish Americans. Now, quite simply according to Google; it is currently gentrified with actors and Wall Street types that have been forcing prices up and the working class out. What could poor old Matt Murdock do to combat the economics of his neighborhood, not much? But his alter ego Daredevil can lead you toward a down-payment for a studio in that part of Manhattan if you own a (9.8) mint condition Daredevil #1 which is priced at $66,000 FMV.

Daredevil #1

The return on Daredevil #1 is consistent and I believe very undervalued at this point. When comparing prices with Amazing Spider-man #1 in grade (9.8) this Spidey-Spectacular comes in at a whopping $975,000 FMV! Daredevil's first appearance hasn't even reached ten percent of the value of Spider-Man's first self-titled series and in like grades. Yes, because Spider-Man is the headliner and primary character for all of Marvel, he deserves the price difference. But my money is on Daredevil continuing to increase in price to a level more on par with Spidey. In fact, I predict that Daredevil #1 will catch up with Spidey, to the tune of about twenty percent of the value of a Spidey comic of like grade.

The returns on Daredevil #1 first created by Stan Lee (writing) and Jack Kirby (art) are inspiring. There is not one decline in price by grade over the last 10,000 recorded sales in aggregate. The series has a lot to do with it. This Daredevil, is no Daredevil-Affleck hybrid, oh no. You can really believe Charlie Cox is a fighter, lawyer, and the masked vigilante Daredevil. Besides the supporting cast is great, you should watch it just for Deborah Ann Woll alone. They have had three solid seasons of Daredevil, and I could see it go ten seasons. Furthermore, current media hype and rumor-mill have a fourth season being pitched to Netflix. I think with Season Three being so strong, it is almost destined for five seasons.

Currently, the return on mint condition (9.8) is positive +15.2%, and lower grades like (6.5) are positively astounding with +103.1%! There are many similar returns for this book in GoCollect's Analyzer varying grades. With the trifecta of Silver Age key, undervalued issue, and constant catalyst of positive seasonal reviews; you would need to take a billy club to the head to not see that  Daredevil #1 will increase in value over the next several years.
