Marc-Oliver Frisch writes "Usually, DC Comics releases around 70 new comic books in a given month, not counting reprints, magazines and titles published through its Johnny DC imprint. In November 2006, the number rose to 88, due to a slew of late-shipping issues from past months and new series launches overlapping with the final issues of a number of failed titles. As a result of the 25% increase in the publisher’s output, there are some drastic shifts in the month’s Top 300, as the additional books pushed everything else down the chart, leaving room in the Top 100 for a measly four books not from Marvel or DC, all of them by Dark Horse Comics."
