DC Comics has announced comic shops can sell DETECTIVE COMICS #1000 at midnight on March 27th. All other DC products released that week can be sold at midnight as well.

Media Release — DC celebrates 80 years of Batman in March with the release of DETECTIVE COMICS #1000 — and now, DC announces that retailers can put this historic issue on sale at midnight on March 27!
This 96-page issue is stacked with an unbelievable lineup of talent that will take you on a journey through Batman’s past, present and future…plus a sensational epilogue that features the first-ever DC Universe appearance of the deadly Arkham Knight! The incredible future of Batman adventures begins here!
Along with an all-star cast of writers and artists, this issue features a wraparound cover by Jim Lee and Scott Williams, and is solicited with nine open to order decades variant covers, plus a blank variant cover.
Contributors to this issue include writers Peter J. Tomasi, Brian Michael Bendis, Tom King, Paul Dini, Warren Ellis, Geoff Johns, Dennis O’Neil, Christopher Priest, Kevin Smith, Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV, with art by Doug Mahnke, Neal Adams, Greg Capullo, Tony S.
