The countdown to the long-awaited comic book mini-series' arrival is almost over! With issue #0 scheduled for a December 2008 release, DAWN OF THE DREAD FORCE tells the story of a future Earth at war with the moon, and under siege by its monstrous, mecha killing-machines! As Earth's population is methodically slaughtered, a small group of rebels sets out to make a desperate last stand for survival, but even they do not know of the terror that awaits them!

DAWN OF THE DREAD FORCE will feature pencils and inks by up-and-coming star penciller Gerardo Sandoval, penciller James Raiz and inker Rob Armstrong of Transformers and Transformers Armada fame, colors by the amazing Danimation, Misty "Sayda" Coats and Simon "Seed" Bork, and story by outstanding writer Kurt Hathaway. With arguably the best mech artwork in comics history, DAWN OF THE DREAD FORCE promises to be headed toward a blockbuster debut!


All-Star Creators!

Gerardo Sandoval and James Raiz have been recruited to pencil the three-issue mini-series. Sandoval is a star on the rise, penciling titles like Tomb Raider during his time with Top Cow Productions. Raiz's past work includes Transformers Armada, Transformers Energon, Tokyo Storm Warning, Wonder Woman, Incredible Hulk: Destruction, City of Heroes, Captain Universe/Invisible Woman, Birds of Prey, Star Wars Tales and Amazing Fantasy.

Inker Rob Armstrong was Pat Lee's exclusive inker while working at Dreamwave Productions, and his inking credits include Transformers G1, Transformers G1 Vol. 2, Transformers Armada, Transformers Summer Special, Transformers/GI Joe, X-Men, Batman, Superman, Fantastic Four, Witchblade, Dark Minds and Warlands.

Colorists Danimation, Misty "Sayda" Coats and Simon "Seed" Bork round out the art team. Danimation's coloring credits include Marvel Age Spider-Man, Spider-Man Unlimited, X-Men Unlimited, Fantastic Four Special, Age of Apocalypse, Son of Vulcan, Voltron, Street Fighter, Darkstalkers and Jason Rubin's Iron and the Maiden. Misty Coats is one of the most talented new colorists in the business and Seed is an up-and-coming talent to watch, already with credits on titles from Marvel, Dark Horse, Image, UDON and more.

Kurt Hathaway has been hired to develop the series' premise and write the scripts. His background as a 20-year industry veteran in the fields of writing, lettering and editing make him perfectly suited to bring DAWN OF THE DREAD FORCE to life. His writing credits include Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Supreme, Deathmate Red, Green Lantern, High Stakes Adventure, etc., and also includes movies, television and Playstation games for Electronic Arts.
