Dark Horse Comics has announced they have been honored with seven 2021 Eisner Award nominations.

Media Release — Dark Horse is thrilled to present the Eisner Nominated titles of 2021! The nominees, chosen by a blue-ribbon panel of judges, reflect the wide range of material published in comics and graphic novels. Named for acclaimed comics creator Will Eisner, the awards are in their fourteenth year of highlighting the best publications and creators in comics and graphic novels.

Best Limited Series: Barbalien: Red Planet, by Jeff Lemire, Tate Brombal, and Gabriel Hernandez Walta
Best Graphic Album—Reprint: Black Hammer Library Edition, vol. 2, by Jeff Lemire, Dean Ormstom, Emi Lenox, and Rich Tommaso
Best Writer: Jeff Lemire, Barbalien, Black Hammer, Colonel Weird: Cosmagog
Best Cover Artist: Dave Johnson, Butcher of Paris
Best Coloring: Laura Allred, X-Ray Robot
Best Coloring: Dave Stewart, Black Hammer
Best Lettering: Aditya Bidikar, Barbalien: Red Planet, Grafity’s Wall Expanded Edition
