There has been a bevy of announcements from Disney in the past few weeks that will greatly impact comic collecting and speculation.  The markets are already reacting in-kind to the news and trying to figure out the eventual impact to each character.  With the inception of Disney+ Streaming and the transition of characters from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies to new shows, there should be caution on the market.  How popular will these MCU shows be?  Will they have an impact on the comic prices they correlate to?  Let's review some possible ramifications for the upcoming Marvel offerings.

Moon Knight - If you feel that Moon Knight getting his own show is a "win" for this character, I, unfortunately, don't share the same sentiment.  I don't know why Marvel would push on with a Black Widow movie when there are so many better ideas to move FORWARD on.  With all the streaming show titles being released already, I am afraid that Moon Knight may get lost in the shuffle.  Disney is banking too hard on nostalgia for characters like Loki, Scarlet Witch, and Hawkeye.  Fans are knowledgeable of these characters and familiar with them as well, so I assume they will easily consume these shows.  However, Moon Knight may be too fringe for some Marvel fans. Copies of Marvel Spotlight #28 are already seeing the benefit of an MCU appearance, but this book was bound to pop soon regardless.

Spider-Man - The Sony/Marvel rift over the Spider-Man franchise is going to end poorly...for fans, and fans alone, because everyone (Sony and Marvel) will make gobs of money either way.  Pulling Spider-Man from the MCU after Far From Home is tragic...especially following the mid-credits scene which set up a bunch of interesting future story-lines.  Sony is bad at making superhero movies and Marvel is good at it, so they should just realize that and move on.  Trying to re-introduce a new version of Spider-Man is just going to anger fans and probably be turned into another origin story that has been done already, and probably a goblin...ugh.   Just leave Spider-Man alone and he will do fine.  Keep messing with him and you may disrupt comic values.

Hulks - With the announcement of She-Hulk joining the MCU, you can bank on the expanded Hulk cast possibly making appearances in the series as well. A-Bomb has to be the most likely, and a Red Hulk could be on the horizon as well.  I mentioned before that the main Green Hulk has been evolved too far when they made the jump to Professor Hulk in End Game.  Now is the chance to revert him into the smashing brute we know and love.

The Marvel Cinematic "Universe" - All this expansion and new character development is good for the Marvel brand and great for extreme Marvel fans. With Disney+ Streaming being the vehicle for all this MCU goodness, the question becomes is Disney throwing out too much? too fast?  Could there be a saturation point that has been maximized with fans.  Remember when people thought the NFL would be the biggest sport forever?  Consumption is changing.  The way people receive content is changing.  Maybe Marvel is making the proper changes, but they could be doing too much too soon and only time will tell.
