Wayside HCMedia Release -- That's right, it's Brooklyn Comics & Graphics Festival time! You can find D+Q at booth U20-U22 upstairs in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, at 275 N. 8th St in Williamsburg. The show runs from 12 pm to 7 pm on Saturday. All programming takes place at The Knitting Factory, 361 Metropolitan Ave.

Now, don't think we've forgotten about signings... what I like to call our "A-list authors" will be signing all day Saturday - Anouk Ricard, Anders Nilsen, and Adrian Tomine!

Saturday's Signing Schedule:

1 - 2 pm Anouk Ricard
3 - 4 pm Anouk Ricard
3 - 5 pm Anders Nilsen
4 - 6 pm Adrian Tomine

And at 4:30 pm, be sure to check out this crazy awesome sounding panel:

Charles Burns (Black Hole, The Hive), Anouk Ricard (Anna and Froga) and Tim Hensley (Wally Gropius, Ticket Stub) will discuss the possibilities and pleasures of crafting narratives that capitalize on the collage-like qualities of the comics form—in matters of structure, style and format—in a conversation moderated by Tom Spurgeon.

Oh heck, just check out all the programming at The Knitting Factory - Bill Kartalopoulos has done it again!

What's that? Debuts, you say? Yes we do!

Julie Morstad (Milk Teeth)'s new art book The Wayside will be coming to you, hot off the presses!

And we'll have a limited quantity of the brand new edition (complete with new afterword) of Anders Nilsen's Don't Go Where I Can't Follow. This one's not in stores until December, folks, so get 'em fast!

Plus we have some of the last copies of the Building Stories Model with us, at a festival Chris Ware will also be attending(!!!), and...

Finally, and EXTRA SPECIAL FOR THIS SHOW ONLY, we will have a very limited series of prints by Adrian Tomine for sale. The prints are some of Adrian's most beloved illustrations from New York Drawings, and they'd make great gifts for yourself or for a loved one. (And uh, a certain commercialized Christian holiday is coming?? I'm going to get in trouble with Tom for mentioning that before American Thanksgiving...)

All right, I guess that's all, folks! See you at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Saturday!
