Cornboy GNMedia Release -- Written by acclaimed, NY Times bestselling author Joshua Dysart (Unknown Soldier, Buddha) with art by Edison George (Beyond, Seven Brothers), Cornboy is the bizarre story of a boy who is half man/half corn. Raised without ever being allowed outside, one day he is set free in the care of a curious doctor, and begins to experience the outside world for what it really is.

Cornboy will be shipping in April, but the comic is advance solicited in March 2011's Diamond Previews. Periscope Entertainment is currently adapting the graphic novel into a film in early 2012.

Patton Oswalt described the book as, "A disturbing, funny ride. 'Rappacini's Daughter' as envisioned by Lars von Trier and Buck Owens."

Aint it Cool described the book as follows, "This is a pretty amazing story of a naïve boy in a twisted world. I loved this story, which is completely twisted, but surprisingly sweet…One things for sure, this story by Joshua Dysart with impressive art by Edison George is unlike anything you're likely to ever read and for that, I whole heartedly recommend Cornboy for those seeking something truly original in their comic book reads."
