Our friends at MangaCast write I’m coming out of hiding to pick Guin Saga, both the novel and manga. I read the first novel a couple years ago when Vertical first released it and found it a quick and entertaining fantasy read; haven’t read the manga, so I’m looking forward to it. The Guin Saga novels are somewhere in the 100s(!!) and have been cited by Miura as one of his main points of inspiration for Berserk.
