Product Changes, New Printings & Variant Editions

DARK HORSE COMICS

• Conan the Cimmerian #10 (FEB09 0012, $2.99) was solicited in the February PREVIEWS with an incorrect cover image. The correct image is drawn by Joseph Michael Linsner. The image originally used to solicit issue #10 in the catalog will be used as the cover for Conan the Cimmerian #11, which will be solicited in March.

DC COMICS

• GREEN LANTERN #37, the third incredible chapter of “Rage of the Red Lanterns,” has sold out at DC Comics, and is being sent back to press for a new, second printing. GREEN LANTERN #37 Second Printing (DEC088105) features a pencils-only version of this issue’s cover by Shane Davis. It is scheduled to arrive in stores on 25 and has a Final Order Cutoff February 5.

• With the Vertigo classic V FOR VENDETTA set to be published as an Absolute edition in August, DC Comics is pleased to announce that this acclaimed title by Alan Moore and David Lloyd will be expanded by an additional 100 pages at no additional cost. This new material includes all of David Lloyd’s silent art pages from the original comic book series, which were not included in the collected editions and have not been seen since the series’ original publication by DC Comics in 1988-1989. In addition, an expanded version of the sketchbook section from the hardcover will be included, as well as all of the back cover art from the original issues. Along with these new pages, the Absolute edition features the improved production values and coloring from the 2005 hardcover edition for optimum enjoyment of the stunning art and story that the Portland Mercury called, “Perhaps Moore’s most powerful work.” The ABSOLUTE V FOR VENDETTA HC (JAN090275) is on Final Order Cutoff on Thursday, February 5. It is scheduled to arrive in stores on August 19 with 396 pages and a cover price of $99.00 U.S.

• SUPERMAN: WORLD OF NEW KRYPTON #1 (JAN090192; variant edition JAN090193), the first issue of the 12-issue miniseries, will be written by the James Robinson and Greg Rucka, the title’s regular writing team. SUPERMAN: WORLD OF NEW KRYPTON #1 is solicited in the January Previews and is scheduled to arrive in stores on March 11.

• Sean McKeever, writer of both TEEN TITANS and the TERROR TITANS miniseries, will take over as regular writer on TITANS with issue #12 (JAN090217). TITANS #12 is solicited in the January Previews and is scheduled to arrive in stores on March 11.

MARVEL COMICS

• Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man #50 (FEB09 2548, $3.99) will be 40 pages, not 48 pages. No content has been changed.

• Adam: Legend of The Blue Marvel #5 (JAN09 2494, $3.99) will have a new cover by Juan Doe that is different than what was originally solicited.

• Marvel Adventures: Fantastic Four #46 (JAN09 2515, $2.99) will have art by Pere Perez, not John Buran.

• Deadpool: Game$ of Death (JAN09 2543, $3.99) will be 40 pages, not 48 pages. No content has been changed.

• Runaways Premiere HC: Dead Wrong (JAN09 2575, $19.99) will have 136 pages, not 144 pages.

• Avengers Premiere HC: Hawkeye (Reg/Var.: JAN09 2582-3, $24.99) will be 192 pages, not 184 pages.

• Wolverine TP: In His Own Words (JAN09 2590, $14.99) will be a hardcover, not a trade paperback, and is now subtitled “Worst Day Ever”. The price of the book is unchanged. Please note that its on-sale date is now April 8.

• She-Hulk TP: Vol. 07: Here Today (JAN09 2607, $14.99) will be 112 pages, not 120 pages.

• New Mutants Classic TP: Vol. 04 (JAN09 2610, $24.99) will have 232 pages, not 224 pages.

• She-Hulk 2 #38 (DEC08 2390, $3.99) will be 40 pages, not 48 pages. No content has been changed.

PRIVATEER PRESS

• Privateer Press’ Monsterpocalypse: I Chomp NY Strategy Guide (FEB09 5230) was solicited with the wrong cover art.
