Product Changes, New Printings & Variant Editions

IMAGE COMICS

• Top Cow Productions has announced significant upgrades to its Deluxe HCs of Midnight Nation (NOV08 2307) and Broken Trinity (DEC08 2300). The size of each collection will be increased to an oversized 8-1/2” x 11” and will ship with a deluxe slipcase containing a 24” x 36” full color poster folded and inserted within. The package will be shrinkwrapped with a sticker containing the book’s UPC/ISBN and price. Because of these upgrades, the price for each book, initially solicited at $34.99, is now $100.

• Top Cow has changed the title of its Top Cow Spring 2009 Preview Book (DEC08 2298, $2.99) to Milo Ventimiglia Presents Berserker #0, which will contain an all-new, eight-page original lead-in story to Berserker by the series team of Rick Loverd (Friday Night Lights) and Jeremy Haun (Chuck), as well as interviews, behind-the-scenes material and a cover by Dale Keown.

MARVEL COMICS

• All “King” variants solicited in the January Marvel Previews – including Amazing Spider-Man #588 (JAN09 2461), Daredevil #117 (JAN09 2504), Deadpool #8 (JAN09 2475), Guardians of the Galaxy #11 (JAN09 2509), Incredible Hercules #127 (JAN09 2484), Invincible Iron Man #11 (JAN09 2482), Mighty Avengers #23 (JAN09 2466), Nova #23 (JAN09 2536), Punisher #3 (JAN09 2480), Secret Warriors #2 (JAN09 2470), War Machine #4 (JAN09 2491), Wolverine: Origins #34 (JAN09 2487) and X-Men: Legacy #222 (JAN09 2539) – are cancelled.

• Immortal Iron Fist by Fraction & Brubaker Omnibus HC (JAN09 2560, $74.99) has been retitled Immortal Iron Fist by Fraction, Brubaker & Aja Omnibus HC.

• Marvel Masterworks: Warlock HC Vol. 2 (JAN09 2566-7) will be $59.99, not $54.99.

• Punisher War Journal TP Vol. 04: Jigsaw (JAN09 2606) will be $16.99, not $15.99.

• Essential Power Man and Iron Fist TP Vol. 2 (JAN09 2612) will be $19.99, not $16.99.

• Wolverine: First Class #11 (NOV08 2421, $2.99) will have art by Hugo Petrus, not Francis Portena.

• Wolverine Omnibus HC Vol. 01 (Miller Cvr./McNiven DM Cvr.: DEC08 2419-20, $99.99) will be 1064 pages, not 944, with Captain America Annual #8 and Uncanny X-Men #172-#173 added to the contents. The price of the book is unchanged.

GAMES

• The title of Mayfair Games’ Steam Board Game (JAN09 5138) has changed to Steam: Rails to Riches. The price of the game has also changed from $42 to $55.
