X-Men #1 Auctions for $807,300 at ComicConnect - After 60 bids, a CGC graded 9.6 copy of the inaugural X-Men comic settled for a staggering sum of money at the conclusion of ComicConnect's auction. This was the first 9.6 to come to auction and is the highest price paid at auction for any X-Men book.

A 9.4, the next-highest graded X-Men #1 to come to auction, sold for $380,000 back in 2018, but it's worth keeping an eye on the 7.0. With exactly 6 months between two sales, the grade has jumped from $23,600 (12/19/20) to $49,200 (6/19/21.)

With all grades on the rise (with the sole exception of the 4.5, which is slightly down,) this book is worth keeping an eye on.
