John Paul Leon Dies at 49: The beloved comic artist known for his work on titles like Static, Earth X, and Batman: Creature of the Night, has passed away at the age of 49. The news was confirmed on Sunday by multiple people in the comic industry, including DC Senior Editor Chris Conroy. The cause of Leon's death is currently unknown at this time.

- Kurt Cobain: Images from Final Photoshoot Being Auctioned NFTs: The images from the final formal photoshoot of Kurt Cobain are set to become non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and will soon be auctioned off. Photographer Jesse Frohman launched a new website for the auction, which opened 5/3. The website describes the photoshoot, dubbed “The Last Session,” at length. This includes how Cobain was four hours late due to being 'holed up in his hotel room'. The auction ends May 7th at 6pm EST. Read more!
- Collectible sneakers: Pair worn by Michael Jordan up for auction: Sotheby’s will put the NBA champion’s 1984-1985 Chicago Bulls season sneakers up for auction in May, as enthusiasm for collectible sneakers grows. - Indie Comic Creators Refile Lawsuit Alleging Disney Stole Iron Man Armor Design: The Lai brothers had an Image comic book series called Radix that ran in 2001 and 2002 and featured state-of-the-art armor designs. - ‘Something Is Killing The Children’ TV Series Reportedly In Development: According to insider Daniel Richtman, a television adaptation of Something Is Killing the Children is in development. Created by James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Edera in 2019, Something Is Killing the Children is published under Boom! Studios. The series synopsis reads as follows:
“When the children of Archer’s Peak begin to go missing, everything seems hopeless. Most children never return, but the ones that do have terrible stories—impossible stories of terrifying creatures that live in the shadows. Their only hope of finding and eliminating the threat is the arrival of a mysterious stranger, one who believes the children and claims to see what they can see. Her name is Erica Slaughter. She kills monsters. That is all she does, and she bears the cost because it MUST be done.“
