CBLDFMedia Release -- This weekend, the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund lands at Seattle's Emerald City Comicon to kick off the 2010 convention year with a membership drive run by Things From Another World ! Come by the TFAW table (Booth 218) to sign up for membership and receive show-special incentives, including signed copies of Liberty Comics, signed Buffy hardcovers, signed copies of Who Killed Amanda Palmer, and more! In addition to signed comics, TFAW will reward CBLDF members with a $10 gift certificate for everyone who signs up at ECCC!

"The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund does hugely important work for comics, and we're thrilled to support that," says TFAW Director of Marketing Andrew McIntire. "Without the Fund, the vast range of great comics we all love would be unlikely to exist, so we're happy to do our part to support their great work."

CBLDF Executive Director Charles Brownstein, who will be on hand at the TFAW booth to meet members says, "Things From Another World is a terrific partner for the CBLDF, and we're heartened by their ongoing generosity. We're grateful to Andrew and everyone on the TFAW team for their support of our work, and their generosity towards our members. It's a pleasure to be working with them to sign up new members at ECCC!"

The TFAW Member Drive at ECCC kicks off a season of convention activities for CBLDF that will include shows across the country. Signing up for CBLDF Membership at ECCC or online is your ticket to special events and incentives available at events throughout the year. If you can't make it to ECCC, you can still sign up for membership and receive your $10 TFAW gift certificate at www.cbldf.org.
