Comic News Insider's CBLDF Raffle at NYCC
It's that time again! Comic News Insider will be running it's annual raffle at New York Comic Con, February 6 -8th 2009!
Every year CNI works with an organization to help raise funds for their cause. Past groups have included the Get Caught Reading program that helps promote reading programs for students and Comics In The Classroom, a program started by a school teacher to develop lesson plans for teachers in conjunction with various comic books. This year CNI is proud to help The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund! The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund was founded in 1986 and is dedicated to the
preservation of First Amendment rights for members of the comics community. Find out more by visiting them at their website.
Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5. Come buy your tickets each day and they will be good for each raffle.

The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study under comics masters at New York Comic Con!
The Fund & NYCC have teamed up to create a series of workshops focused on helping young and aspiring creators make the next step in their comics careers! Participating creators include Jim Lee, Whilce Portacio, Terry Moore, Brian Wood, Peter Steigerwald, & Vince Hernandez!
