Lio Still Another Lio Coll Zombies Need Love Too TPBMedia Release -- The Cartoon Art Museum welcomes Mark Tatulli, creator of Lío and Heart of the City for a behind-the-scenes look at his award-winning comic strips on Tuesday, April 24 from 7:00-9:00pm. This special presentation looks back at highlights from Lío’s first six years in syndication, including Tatulli’s favorite and most controversial strips. The Cartoon Art Museum Bookstore will also be selling advance copies of the latest Lío collection, Zombies Need Love Too. The presentation will be followed by a book signing.

This event is the final program in conjunction with the Cartoon Art Museum exhibition Black and White and Read All Over: Comics of the New Millennium, which features the works of Mark Tatulli, Lalo Alcaraz, Piers Baker, Alex Hallatt, Steve Kelley, Keith Knight, Jeff Parker, Stephan Pastis, Rina Piccolo and Richard Thompson. This exhibition concludes on Sunday, May 6, and will be followed by Avengers Assemble!, featuring Marvel Comics’ popular superhero team.

About Mark Tatulli

Mark Tatulli is an internationally syndicated cartoonist. He was awarded the National Cartoonists Society’s Best Newspaper Comic Strip award in 2008 for Lío and is also known for his popular comic strip Heart of the City, both syndicated by Universal Press Syndicate. He lives in a Spielbergian development in New Jersey with his wife, Donna, three children, and three nefarious cats, all of whom supply endless ideas for Lío.
