Divas Dames & Daredevils Lost Heroines Of Golden Age TPBMedia Release -- Mike Madrid, author of The Supergirls: Fashion, Feminism, Fantasy, and the History of Comic Book Heroines, will be launching his new book, Divas, Dames & Daredevils. This event is free and open to the public.

The event will begin with a presentation, by Madrid, at 6:30pm in the gallery of the Museum to discuss his new book, Divas, Dames & Daredevils. Stan Lee states that with his newest book, "Mike Madrid gives these forgotten super-heroines their due. These 'lost' heroines are now found – to the delight of comic book lovers everywhere."

After the presentation, Mike Madrid will sign books and wine will be provided courtesy of Exterminating Angel Press.

About the author:
Madrid, a San Francisco native and a lifelong fan of comic books and popular culture has appeared in the documentary Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines. He has received positive reviews including his previous book being noted as an NPR "Best Book To Share With Your Friends". His books unearth the storylines of superheroines and re-introduce comic fans to the overlooked characters of the comic book industry.
