Jeffrey Brown Top ShelfIgnatz Award-winning artist and writer Jeffrey Brown is supporting the First Amendment rights of the comics community by joining our Second Annual SDCC Autograph Card/CBLDF Auction!

Brown is best known for his funny yet poignant memoirs from independent publisher Top Shelf Productions, including Funny Misshapen Body, Clumsy, and Every Girl Is the End of the World for Me. His latest work from Top Shelf is Undeleted Scenes, which contains his shorter works and stories from anthologies.

Brown will contribute an original sketch to the CBLDF, which will then be auctioned off at San Diego Comic-Con in July. Plus, TFAW will be taking all of the sketches from our participating publishers and creators and creating limited-edition autograph cards! To collect yours for free, visit the Top Shelf or TFAW booths at SDCC !

Peter Bagge HATEHarvey Award-winning artist Peter Bagge is the latest addition to our Second Annual SDCC Autograph Card/CBLDF Auction event, which will raise funds to support the First Amendment rights of the comics community!

Bagge is well-known throughout the industry as a cartoonist who deals with political and social issues, so it's no surprise that he's a fan of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund! His semi-autobiographical comic book, HATE, is published by Fantagraphics, another big supporter of the CBLDF! Bagge is also known for his series Apocalypse Nerd and has worked on Strange Tales and Star Wars Tales, among many others.

Bagge will be donating an original sketch to the CBLDF that will be auctioned off at San Diego Comic-Con this July. However, you can get a copy: we'll be turning every sketch we receive into free limited-edition autograph cards that you can collect! Make sure to visit the Fantagraphics booth at SDCC or stop by the TFAW booth to get yours!

B.P.R.D. 1947 Gabriel Ba Fabio MoonAwesome news! Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon are contributing sketches to our Second Annual SDCC Autograph Card/CBLDF Auction event.

Bá and Moon have worked separately on projects like The Umbrella Academy (Bá) and Sugarshock (Moon), but if you haven't already, you must check out their collaborations, including B.P.R.D. 1947, Daytripper, and Pixu. These two aren't just brothers, they're twins, and it's interesting to see their styles mesh so completely and mysteriously.

Here's the skinny: Bá and Moon will each be donating a sketch to the CBLDF. Not only will these pieces be auctioned off to benefit the CBLDF at San Diego Comic-Con this July, but we'll be turning them into free limited-edition autograph cards that you can collect! You can visit their booths at SDCC to get yours, and TFAW folks will also be giving away complete sets on the convention floor, so keep an eye out!
