Boom! Studios has joined our Second Annual SDCC Autograph Card/CBLDF Auction event to fight for the First Amendment rights of the comics community!
BOOM! Studios is a unique publishing house specializing in high-profile projects across a wide variety of different genres from some of the industry’s biggest talents, including Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, The Henson Company’s Farscape, the original Mark Waid series Irredeemable and a wealth of BOOM Kids! titles such as Pixar’s The Incredibles, Toy Story, and Disney’s The Muppets, Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge.
We will announce which of their incredible creators will be donating original pieces of art to the event, which the CBLDF will auction off during San Diego Comic-Con. The best thing? You can also get this artwork at the show: for every piece donated, we will be creating exclusive limited-edition autograph cards, which you can collect at SDCC!
We want to thank Boom! Studios and the many publishers and creators who have stepped up to join this important cause. We will be making more announcements soon about which artists are contributing–stay tuned! Also, make sure to visit all of our participants’ booths at SDCC this year to collect these exclusive autograph cards.
You don’t have to be a comics publisher or creator to help in the effort to fight the good fight. Every individual who stands up and supports the fight for First Amendment rights plays a crucial role. Visit the CBLDF and learn how you can help!
