Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Releases Limited Edition SNOW GLASS APPLES

LOS ANGELES, July 21, 2008 — Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab (BPAL) presents “Snow, Glass, Apples,” a numbered, limited edition chapbook of Neil Gaiman’s acclaimed short story, with new art by Julie Dillon. Each chapbook comes with a 5ml bottle of Snow, Glass, Apples perfume oil blend from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.

This edition is limited to 1000 copies. 250 will be sold by CBLDF at San Diego Comic Con 2008, and the remainder will go on sale July 30, 2008, at The retail price for the set is $50.

Proceeds from every bottle sold go to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1986 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of First Amendment rights for members of the comics community.

This limited edition package joins Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab’s scents inspired by Neil Gaiman’s “Good Omens,” “Stardust,” “American Gods,” and “Anansi Boys.” To date, Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has raised over $38,000 for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund through sales of their Neil Gaiman-related series.

The collaboration between artistic visionaries is always an exciting and thought-provoking endeavor. Rarely, if ever, though, have modern literary characters been so lovingly and accurately interpreted by a skilled perfumer.
