Strings by Jesse Faatz

The Bluegrass phenom Billy Strings has announced his annual holiday event know as String the Halls for this year. Being 2020, this year's installment of the annual concert experience has adapted the virtual event format. Instead of the typical annual live concert that features a revolving cast of Billy Strings' favorite musicians, the aptly titled String The Halls: Home For The Holidays Edition will feature a daily video release from the bluegrass singer-guitarist. The event starts on December 14th and continues for the next 12 days through Christmas Day on Friday, December 25th.  See the event poster below!

All Through the House

Each day during the String The Halls holiday event the bluegrass star will post a new video performance to his YouTube channel. These will air at 11:00 a.m. ET. Once the final “12 Days of Bluegrass” video has been released, the audio from each performance will be made available for purchase and download on nugs.net.

Lots of Goodies on His Sleigh

The String The Halls event includes a limited-edition poster, as well as a selection of prints commemorating the event. The exclusive prints will be released each day during the event. The prints were designed by the fine folks over at Half Hazard Press. The proceeds from the String The Halls: Home For The Holidays Edition will benefit Musically Fed, Nashville Rescue Mission, and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee!

Despite the continuous disruption of the live music industry thanks to the coronavirus pandemic the guitarist-singer Billy Strings has maintained a busy schedule thanks to his Streaming String virtual concert tour, and a quick run of in-person movie theatre drive in concerts. The guitarist also performed a 3 set show at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado in September. Strings also contributed to the Democracy Comes Alive virtual special this past October.
