The top 100 Hottest Comics include some that jumped hundreds of spots. Let begin the speculation of why that is.

Top 5 Movers on the 100 Hottest Comics List

1. Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends #1

673519-195x300 Biggest Movers and Hottest ComicsSpider-Man And His Amazing Friends #1 has jumped the most on our list this week. Moving up 987 spots to land in the #12 spot on GoCollect’s Hottest Comics list. It is no surprise that the FMV continues to rise, currently at $325 at the time of writing this blog. This month alone, 5 copies of a 9.8 has sold for as much as $345.

Why is this? Well, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends #1 is the first appearance of Firestar. I know what you’re thinking, “What about The Uncanny X-Men #193, well, not only do we talk about it later in this blog, but also – this comic came out in 1981, #193 didn’t come out until 1985. Although Firestar’s first in-continuity appearance is within the Jimmy Olsen comic, her first real appearance is here.  Anyway, People are heavily convinced that Firestar is going to be joining the MCU. It isn’t confirmed where, but people are theorizing that she may be a part of the upcoming Spider-Man 3 movie. With Peter Parker’s identity being known, he will need friends to help out. What do you think, is it possible to see this mutant appear in the next Spider-Man film? Is there another reason you think this comic is hopping the charts? Let us know in the comments below.

2. The Uncanny X-Men #193 up-1-194x300 Biggest Movers and Hottest Comics

The Uncanny X-Men #193 has climbed 978 spots to land in the 21st place on the Hottest Comics list. Eight of the X-Men #193 9.8’s have sold this month for as much a $179. In January you could snag one of these for $70. As mentioned earlier, Firestar’s origin is from Spider-Man’s series, but her in-continuity comic debut was in The Uncanny X-Men #193. Finally opening the X-Men up to the MCU. She could pop up in many other ways, but personally, I’m hoping for her in the Spiderverse.

3. Superman’s Pal, Jimmy Olsen #134

Climbing 919 spots to land in the 81st post in the top 100. Sales for this comic have increased, but not majorly in any one grade. A few here and there have been purchased. There’s no surprise here with Superman’s Pal, Jimmy Olsen #134 being the first appearance of Darkseid which has been confirmed be in the Snyder Cut of the Justice League movie coming out.

4. The Batman Adventures: Mad Love #1

Climbed 837 spots to land in the 88th spot in the top 100. This month, four 9.8’s have sold for as much as $444. This time last year you could find this for $286. I couldn’t find much out there about why this may be. There was a post-credit voice-over at the end of Birds of Prey where Harley Quinn gets cut off while trying to reveal a secret that related to Batman. The Batman Adventures: Mad Love #1 features the true origins of Harley Quinn including her first interaction with the Joker. She goes on to try to prove her love for Joker by trying to kill Batman. Could there be a Batman/Harley Quinn film? With Robert Pattinson’s Batman coming out there could be something there? What are your thoughts?

X-Force #1 has had an upsetting history with being announced… then canceled.. and now the rumors are back that X-Force is coming to the screens. This comic has climbed 837 spots to land in the 85th place in the top 100. This month, five 9.8’s have sold for as high as $150 while in January of this year you could find one for as low as $63. Jeff Wadlow has revealed his thoughts on a trilogy for the X-Force and states that they are inevitable. X-Force characters have also joined Deadpool in the Fornite video game. Players can now unlock the skins for Cable, Domino, and Psylocke. It’s worth mentioning.

I think there is an error in this article as the first appearance of Moon Knight is in Werewolf By Knight #32 not Spider man and his Amazing Friends.

100% Not Jimmy Olsen, rather the Uncanny X-Men #193. Y’all are the best!

Think theres another error. Dont think Firestar appeared in Jimmy Olsen 134 as it’s a dc comic and Firestar is Marvel. Stranger things have happened so I could be wrong.
