It’s been quite the ride for fans of Ronald D. Moore and David Eick’s Battlestar Galactica, on Sci-Fi Fridays at 10:00 p.m./9:00 p.m. Central. And now we’re at the final two episodes, with Daybreak: Part 1 airing tonight and Daybreak: Part 2 showing next week!

And what a ride it’s been. When the show first debuted, it mostly got attention for making Starbuck and Boomer, originally male characters on the Glen A. Larson series, women played by Katee Sackhoff and Grace Park (oh, and for having lots of hot Cylon chicks).

Today, the series is recognized as a complex, fiercely ambitious show that has dealt with genocide, politics, loyalty, personal freedom, and identity. While it may not have always fulfilled its ambitions in the minds of its fans, Battlestar Galactica has always been known for its intense performances and powerful storylines.

So what now? Never fear, you can still follow the crew of the Galactica in dozens of comic books and graphic novels by Dynamite Entertainment and Tokyopop. In fact, we’ve revamped our Battlestar Galactica Theme Shop so you can easily find all of the Battlestar Galactica comics, toys, and collectibles you’ll need to take the edge of your withdrawal after March 20th!

Who out there is a Battlestar Galactica fan? Do you have any graphic novel recommendations? Are you sad the show is coming to an end, or do you think it has run its course? Post below!
