The press release follows:

Media Release — The latest addition to Dark Horse and Nickelodeon’s expansive Avatar: The Last Airbender world arrives June 22, 2021, in Suki Alone brought to life by creators Faith Erin Hicks (The Nameless City, Avatar: The Last Airbender: Imbalance), Peter Wartman (Stonebreaker, Avatar the Last Airbender: Katara and the Pirate’s Silver), with colorist Adele Matera (Avatar: The Last Airbender: Imbalance) and letterer ComiCraft (Avatar: The Last Airbender: Imbalance).

Even a Kyoshi Warrior can find herself in trouble, but even then, she’ll never give up.

Suki is captured by the Fire Nation and brought to the Boiling Rock, a grim prison in the middle of a dormant volcano. Separated from Team Avatar and her Kyoshi Warrior sisters, she decides to build her own community among other prisoners. But it’s going to take more than an encouraging word to build trust among so many frightened people. Suki will need to draw on all her resources to do it, and even that might not be enough.

Enjoy this all-new, never-before-told tale from Faith Erin Hicks and Peter Wartman, written in consultation with Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series writer Tim Hedrick!

Suki Alone arrives June 22, 2021 in both book stores and comic shops, and is available for pre-order now on Barnes and Noble, Indiebound, and your local comic shop for $12.99.
