I've attempted having a message board associated with the ComicList web site in the past, with little to no success. So, you ask, why try again? Hope may be the mother of despair, but hope also keeps me from stopping, hope tells "do it one more time, it will work this time."

So what's different about this attempt? I'm glad you asked-- read on!

1) The board is orange. How can you ignore an orange board?

2) You like to talk about comic books. And you are here, so in theory you like the ComicList web site. Think how easy it would be to talk about comic books while you are here! Consider how irresistible and effortless that would be!

3) I have an invitation and offer for anyone who has a comic book web site or blog, or anyone who is interested in having or moving to a new comic book themed message board. Let me save you the hassle of paying someone to host a board, and the trouble of installing and maintaining software. I would be happy to create a section for you on my board that you can moderate and adjust as you see fit. And, of course, if you needed or desired something on the board that only I can change, I'm right here to help you.

4) What if #3 interests you, but you don't like orange? This a SMF message board that can allow each section to have its own theme. There's some basic themes already available, or you can go to the SMF web site and pick out a theme that suits your needs. Preferably whatever theme you pick will be written to work on the latest version of SMF, which is 1.14.

There you go. How can you say no to this opportunity? Okay, all you have to do is say "no," but why would you want to? Don't break my heart this holiday season. Give me the gift of your gab!
