SeptemberBackCover A Preview Of The September PREVIEWSMedia Release — (BALTIMORE, MD) — (August 13, 2009) — As the dead continue to rise across the DC Universe, it’s only fitting that the front cover of the September issue of PREVIEWS, the comic shop’s catalog, goes to DC Comics’ BLACKEST NIGHT #5, the latest shocking installment of the fan-favorite mini-series.

With Blackest Night, resting in peace is no longer possible for a number of the heroes and villains that have gone to their graves throughout DC’s history. With the fifth issue, scribe Geoff Johns and illustrator Ivan Reis shake things up yet again, as the true leader of the Black Lantern Corps is finally revealed. But what is he after? And is there any way for the living to turn the tide against his ring-bearing minions?
