First up, let's take a gander at the top ten from the hottest comics list first. This is the second week in a row that Ultimate Fallout #4 has been dropping! Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen #3 climbed up 27 spots to land in the #1 place! This most likely has to do with the announcement from DC that Punchline will be getting her own self-titled one-shot comic in November. While there is a bit of tension about which comic is her first appearance, Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen #3 is credited with that. The other comic that people argue is Batman #89, which also climbed 45 spots to land in the 23rd spot.

Hottest Comics Biggest Movers
Time to dive right in! I'm changing some things up this week. I'm going to talk about the top 3 biggest movers in the top 100, but then I'm going to look at a couple movers that weren't in the top 100 last week, then jumped higher that spot #50. Let me know what you think about this change up and if it's interesting to you.
# 15 Spider-Man
This comic wasn't in the top 100 a week ago, but this week made it to the #15 spot by climbing up 129 spots. Amazing Spider-Man #194, the first appearance of Black Cat. Now, a few weeks ago, a different Black Cat issue made it to this biggest movers speculation. I wasn't able to find too much concrete information on this last time - so maybe there is some new information available now.
#45 New Mutants
#52 Fantastic Four
Back to our regularly scheduled biggest movers, first up is Fantastic Four #52. This issue climbed 948 spots to land in spot number 52. Everyone knows about this comic - it's pretty iconic. Being the first appearance of BlackPanther and Negative Zone, this is a heavily sought after comic in general. This comic was released in 1966 and has an estimated FMV for a 9.8 at $90,000. Of course, a 9.8 hasn't sold since 2018. The most recent sale was a 3.5 verified collection for $459. Last week 8 sold compared to the lonely 2 the week before that. There are 4,712 copies in the CGC census with the most common grade being 6.5 with 494.
There is a 5.0 available in a Heritage auction that closes on August 24th. The 5.0 has an FMV of $575 and the current winning bid is $340. If you want to check it out go here.
I found a couple things for this one. One of those being an audio series about Black Panther that is going to be narrated by The Good Place actor, William Jackson Harper. The other is the datamined information from Marvel's Avengers PC beta that was released recently. Upon searching, dataminers were able to find some big named characters that players will be able to unlock, including Black Panther.
Will you be tuning into the audio series? Let me know in the comments below.
#63 Harbinger
Next on our list is Harbinger #1 that climbed 937 spots to land in #63. 9 of these sold in the past week compared to the ZIP the week before. That is a big difference. The most impressive sale was on eBay and was for a 9.8 that went for $700. That's $50 over the estimated FMV right now. There are 2,337 copies on the CGC Census with the most common grade being and 9.6.
Way back in 2015, Sony and Valiant Entertainment announced a deal for 5 movies that included Harbinger. We hadn't heard much since due to contract complications with Paramount... That is until now. While there isn't any formal announcement from Paramount, Valiant announced that they are aiming for a release date in 2021 for the Harbinger movie. The big debate has always been Marvel VS DC, but Valiant is trying to create their own universe. That attempt started this year with Vin Diesel's Bloodshot. While that wasn't exactly a ringer, maybe the Harbinger movie will strike up some enthusiasm for other Valiant Entertainment comics?
It's no surprise that with this announcement, people started their search for this comic. Are you looking forward to this movie? Let me know!
#92 Master of Kung Fu
The last on our movers list that climbed up 908 spots is Master of Kung Fu #17. 7 have sold last week compared to the solo one that sold the week before. The most expensive one that sold was a 9.6 off of eBay that sold for $289 as a fixed price. This is far off from the estimated FMV of $180 though. This is a bit of an outlier, but looking over all the grades, all but one grade has been increasing over time. 9.8 increased by over 121%. There are only 198 copies of this comic in the CGC Census with the most common grade being tied up between a 9.6 and 9.4. If you look at only blue labels, 9.4 beats out by a handful.
Hottest Comic Biggest Losers
As always, it's interesting to look at the biggest losers from the Hottest Comics list. The most notable one here, to me, is ASM 375. It went from the number 7 spot all the way down to spot 82? That is a bit jump.
Amazing Spider-Man #375 down 75

The Omega Men #3 Down 58
