Baltimore Comic-ConMedia Release -- The Baltimore Comic-Con is pleased to provide information about partner hotel discounts for the 2012 show, taking place September 8-9, 2012 at the Baltimore Convention Center in downtown Baltimore.

Partner hotels for the 2012 Baltimore Comic-Con are divided into two categories this year.

Downtown Hotels

The Baltimore Comic-Con has made arrangements with a number of downtown hotels in close proximity to the Baltimore Convention Center.

Airport (BWI) Hotels

The Baltimore Comic-Con has made arrangements with two well-appointed airport hotels. These hotels are adjacent to Route 295, which provides for a direct drive to the Baltimore Convention Center area. Additionally, they are convenient to mass transit to Baltimore via the Light Rail.

Springhill Suites at BWI
Please make reservations by calling 410-694-0555, following the prompts to Reservations, and asking for the "Baltimore Comic-Con" rate for September 7th and 8th. You can also book online at http://springhillsuites.com/bwiss, defining your reservation dates on the left-hand column, and selecting "Special Rates," which will expand to allow for a Group Code. Use Group Code "BCCBCCA" for rooms with a king-sized bed or "BCCBCCB" for rooms with 2 queen-sized beds.

Hilton Garden Inn BWI
Please book your reservation online at http://www.bwiairport.gardeninn.com/ using group code "BCC", or
call 410-691-0500 and reference the "Baltimore Comic-Con" group rate.

The New York Yankees are in town the entire weekend, and we expect demand for rooms near the Baltimore Convention Center to be high due to its proximity to Camden Yards. We are fortunate to have numerous mass transit options available to our guests who opt to stay at hotels not in the immediate vicinity of the Baltimore Convention Center, including the Airport Hotels -- please see http://www.bccenter.org/links.php?cID=4 for details.

For those who have noted that hotel prices are higher this year, this can also be attributed to the New York Yankees visit to Baltimore that weekend.

Tickets for the show are now on sale at baltimorecomiccon.com/tickets as well, so be sure to book all of your travel plans now!
