MySpace Dark Horse Presents Volume 2 TPBMedia Release -- Dark Horse Comics invites previously unpublished comics creators to submit samples of their existing sequential work for Dark Horse's viewing pleasure! Thereafter, the series editor determines which two comics 'newcomers' have a shot at creating original material for the Eisner-nominated (yay!) comics anthology MySpace Dark Horse Presents (www.myspace.com/darkhorsepresents). They get paid too!

Guidelines!

1) Will accept mini-comics, zines, or photo copies of sequential work.

2) Looking for individuals who can do the whole job -- story, art, lettering.

3) Include contact information, phone number, e-mail, web address (if available), and a link to your MySpace page (must have).

4) Must be previously unpublished and have no work distributed by Diamond Comics Distributers.

What To Do!

On Saturday, April 18th, please drop your submissions off with a Dark Horse employee or in the submissions box. The names of the two individuals that receive the newcomer slots in MDHP will be posted at the Dark Horse booth Sunday afternoon.

What Is This MySpace Dark Horse Presents?

Let me tell you!

It's a monthly online comic book anthology. MySpace partnered with Dark Horse Dark Horse Comics to create wholly original comics content for readers to enjoy for FREE. MDHP takes its cues from the original Dark Horse Presents, a comics anthology published from 1986 to 2000, where highly celebrated comics including Frank Miller's Sin City and Paul Chadwick's Concrete, made their debut. Since the launch in July of 2007, MDHP has featured renowned comics creators such as Joss Whedon, Mike Mignola, and Stan Sakai along with 'newcomers' including Ezra Claytan Daniels, Brian Churilla, Matt Brenier, and Sara Oleksyk. New issues of MDHP appear the first Wednesday of every month exclusively at www.myspace.com/darkhorsepresents.
